Mooipan has a well-appointed slaughtering and refrigeration facility, and slaughtering fees are included in the basic price list. This service includes the skinning, cleaning, refrigeration and basic packing/preparation for transport – this will assume that the hunter will provide his own containers.
 
Hunters are encouraged to make use of the local Wildshoekie venison processing and packaging service located in the Steenbokpan about 15 minutes’ drive from Mooipan. The Wildshoekie team has 25 years’ experience in the processing of carcasses, and their service could include delivery to Pretoria if required.
